It’s only fair that you know a little bit about me. My name: Laura Torgerud. My passion: using my professional administrative skills to help others. Okay, there’s more to me than that…

I grew up in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. I have a degree in nutrition and worked as a dietetic technologist in a hospital setting for almost eight years. From there, I went to work for a media research organization and managed their customer service department for two years.

My next job was as an administrative assistant for the Board of Trustees for a state college and university system. I spent five years there before accepting a position as an administrative assistant for a Fortune 500 company sales team.

My husband’s new job required relocation to Iowa.  I decided this was an excellent opportunity for me to venture out on my own as a virtual assistant.

I live in Iowa with my husband and daughter. We enjoy biking and kite flying as a family, as well as watching baseball, hockey and football. I enjoy getting on the golf course when I can (which isn’t often enough.) I am a craft geek – give me quilting, sewing or any paper craft, and I’m happy. I love making greeting cards and gifts for my family and friends. I also have a penchant for living a frugal life.
